The Indian Space Suit

     As India celebrated its 72nd Independence Day, it was the speech of the Prime Minister Modi that brought smile to all the faces. Prime Minister Modi, officially declared that India is preparing for a manned mission to space before the 75th Independence Day, that will make India, the fourth country in the world to do so.
The Indian Space Agency ISRO is very much capable to do so and has developed most of the technology required, under MAKE IN INDIA campaign. One such technology is the Space Suit.

Below we share the picture of the first prototype of MADE IN INDIA space suit. It is presently in display at ISRO's Space Application Centre at Ahemdabad.
