The Indian Space Suit

As India celebrated its 72nd Independence Day, it was the speech of the Prime Minister Modi that brought smile to all the faces. Prime Minister Modi, officially declared that India is preparing for a manned mission to space before the 75th Independence Day, that will make India, the fourth country in the world to do so.
The Indian Space Agency ISRO is very much capable to do so and has developed most of the technology required, under MAKE IN INDIA campaign. One such technology is the Space Suit.

Below we share the picture of the first prototype of MADE IN INDIA space suit. It is presently in display at ISRO's Space Application Centre at Ahemdabad.

Capsula Mundi

Energy can neither be created nor it can be destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another. Can the same be said for Life ? Well, we believe YES!! and what is making us believe is the Project "CAPSULA MUNDI" .

CAPSULA MUNDI Founders Raoul Bretzel (R) and Anna Citell (L)

CAPSULA MUNDI is an Italian company founded by two designers, "Anna Citell" and "Raoul Bretzel" which aims at changing the way we bury a deceased. It basically consists of an Egg Shaped Pot, made up of biodegradable material where our departed loved ones are placed for burial. Ashes are placed in a small egg shaped urns while the body is laid down in a fetal position in a larger pot. The whole CAPSULA is then buried into the ground as a seed. A tree chosen by the deceased while in life, is then planted on its top. This pod then germinates providing a new form of life to the deceased one. The tree as it grows is taken care by the Relatives and Friends of the deceased ones.

Concept

The capsule is available throughout the world through its official website https://www.capsulamundi.it/en/ subject to legal clearance. Cemeteries will thus acquire a new look and instead of cold grey landscape we see today, they will grow into a vibrant woodlands.

Why Hindus Offer Mustard Oil To Shani Dev Every Saturday ?

Mahima Shani Dev Ki

The Epic Story -

Once, Hanuman ji Was Allotted some work by  Shree Ram near Raam Setu. As You know very well, Shani Dev is regarded as God who creates Obstacles in the work, so he started disturbing Hanuman Ji. Hanuman ji Didn't Liked it as it was creating a delay in Shree Ram ji's Work.

Hanuman Ji Vs Shani Dev

Thus, he caught and tied Shani Devta in his tail and he continued with his work at the same time. Hanuman ji not only tied Shani Dev in his tail, but also he knocked continuously on big stones which was kept to build the Setu. Shani Dev tried everything, but he wasn't able to release himself from the grip of the tail of Hanuman ji. He was  badly hurt.

The God Of Justice

After finishing his work, Hanuman ji looked at Shani Devta. Shani Devta apologised and Hanuman ji very kindly accepted his apologie and rleased him from the tight grip of  his tail. Shani Devta then asked some oil to put on his wounds. Hanuman Ji gave some Mustard Oil. After Putting oil on his scars, Shani Devta was pleased and said that he would never ever create any kind of obstacle in the work of the ones who are true devotee of  Shree Ram Ji Or Hanuman Ji.

May Shani Devta Bless You

The Reason -

Since after having the oil, Shani Devta Felt Happy and Relaxed and got rid of the intense pain, people offer oil to him every saturday. It is offered to make him feel happy and relieve so as to remain aloof from his ill effect.

The Significance Of "Qurbani"

Bakri Eid (also referred as Eid-Ul-Azha, Eid-Ul-Zuha or Bakr-Idd) - A famous festival of Muslims (Islam) celebrated with full dedication and enjoyment. In India, it is celebrated from the tenth to the twelfth day in the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah.

On the occasion of Bakri Eid, Muslims sacrifice animals (goat or ox or ram) in admiration of prophet Ibrahim's faith in Allah. This sacrifice is known as Qurbani. A Muslim, who performs slaughter, makes three portions of the meat. He shares the meat with his fellow beings. One third part of the meat is distributed amongst the poor. One third part of the meat is for family and friends of the person who bought the animal. The last third part is for the household of the butcher. For Muslims Bakri Eid is the time to meet relatives, to enjoy feasts, and to seek Allah's blessings.

How It Started

There is an interesting story in Quran that describe its significance. Once Allah decided to challenge Prophet Ibrahim to prove his faith in Allah and asked him to sacrifice the most dearest and the most nearest  one in his life. Ibrahim took this challenge and decided to sacrifice his only son "Ismail".

Ibrahim's Faith In Allah

His love towards his son has the same strength as the faith towards "Allah". His heart didn't wanted him to do but his faith gave him the strength to put his own son on the altar at the mount of Mina near Mecca. It was impossible to see his son dying in front of his eyes. He could not imagine slaying his own child but he could not deny the order of higher power.

The Sacrifice

He closed his eyes and took out his sharp sword. Reciting the name of "Allah", he slaughtered and divided the head from the body of his own son. He with his sad heart, opened his eyes and couldn't believed on his senses to what he saw. He saw his son "Ismail" standing hearty and healthy in front of his own eyes. A dead "Ram"( A Male Sheep) with his head apart was lying in the pool of blood. Ibrahim emerged as a winner as he accepted god's challenge with complete faith.

The Power Of Allah

Since then people believe in the mercy of Allah and in the authenticity of Quran. They devotionally sacrifice a Ram/Goat on Eid-Ul-Zuha. On this holy occasion, prayers are offered and animals are sacrificed to show their faith and sincerity towards Islam. The festival also signifies the Ibrahim's belief in almighty.

Artificial Brain

Artificial Brain - Title

Artificial Brain, Of the biggest mysteries in science and metaphysics, i.e. why does the universe exist, what is the ultimate theory of everything, is there intelligent life elsewhere, etc., we consider human consciousness to be the most pressing. The biggest question to us, how to solve these mysteries? By reverse engineering the human brain, can these biggest mysteries be solved? Well scientists believe in this and thus are continuously working hard to create something what they call artificial brain.

Ø What are Artificial Brains? Do these really exist?

Artificial brain is a term used to describe man made machines, equipments or software which is as intelligent and as creative as Animals or Human Beings. These have similar cognitive abilities as that of Human Beings or Animals. Although scientists till now have not been able to build any machine like this, but research is being done and is only a small matter of time. On the basis of the current trends in neuroscience, computing, and nanotechnology, it is estimated that artificial general intelligence will emerge in the 21st century, by the year 2025.

Ø What are the aims of creating an Artificial brain?

There are mainly three aims of creating and artificial brain -

1st – To create a greater understanding about the working of the human brain, also called as “Cognitive Neuroscience.”

2nd – To create a machine that has all the capabilities of Human Beings. To create a machine which should judge correctly, what is right and what is wrong without any human help. To create a machine that can take appropriate steps for the solution of the problem at correct timings.

3rd – To create a machine having similar intelligence as that of the human beings. Projects dealing with these are quite long term project and require a large amount of human effort and investments. This idea has been popularised by Ray Kurzweil.

Ø Some Examples…

A project has been reported by Aston University in Birmingham, England where researchers are using biological cells to create "Neurospheres" which are basically small clusters of neurons in order to develop new treatments for diseases like Alzheimer's, Motor Neurone and Parkinson's Disease etc.

Another project is the “Blue Brain” project which aims at using conventional computing machines as an approach for the emulation of a whole brain. This project is directed by Henry Markram and is expected to be completed by the year 2025. The Blue Brain project is being conducted with the assistance of IBM in Lausanne The project is based on the premise that it is possible to artificially link the neurons "in the computer" by placing thirty million synapses in their proper three-dimensional position.

Neural Network

Ø Methods of Brain Simulation

1st - Direct Method It is the most common approach adopted for the brain emulation in which artificial neural networks on a high-performance computing engines are used. However this approach is quite time consuming and the processes takes place quite slowly.

2nd - Holographic Neural Technology (HNeT) This method is mainly based upon the non linear phase coherence/DE coherence principles. This method is basically analogous to vaious quantum processes through the core synaptic algorithm which has strong similarities to the QM wave equation.

3rd – Ev Brain It is basically a form of an evolutionary software that has the ability to evolve "Brain like" neural networks. Such as the complex network behind the retina of our eye balls.

Ø Problems Associated With the Artificial Brains

1st – Lack Of Technology Though we may be living in 21st century, but the technology which we have today is highly insufficient for the making of an Artificial Brain.Though the rate of growth and development of technology is fastly bridging the gap between the success and the time required for the generation of the first complete Artificial Brain.

2nd – Time Consuming It is a great test of the patience and the countless efforts of the scientists and the researchers working on this. Even the generation of a small neuron cell requires a large amount of time.

3rd - Ethical Issues In addition, there are ethical issues that should be resolved. The construction and sustenance of an artificial brain raises moral questions, namely regarding personhood, freedom, and death. Does a "brain in a box" constitute a person? What rights would such an entity have, under law or otherwise? Etc...

Looking At the progress, I Don’t see there is a much time left when we will soon see first woking Artificial Brain.
